Terms of Use
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the TapCook app, operated by testmaxx LLC ("we," "us"). By downloading or using TapCook, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
The service
TapCook lets you save recipe videos from third-party platforms and converts them into readable recipe cards for your personal use. TapCook is a tool for organizing recipes; we do not create, own, or endorse the recipes or videos you save, and accuracy of extracted ingredients, steps, times, and nutrition is not guaranteed.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use TapCook.
Subscriptions & billing
- TapCook offers an auto-renewable subscription ("TapCook Premium") on a monthly and a yearly plan. The yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. After any free trial, the subscription automatically renews at the then-current price unless you cancel.
- Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Prices are shown in the app before you purchase and may vary by region. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store's policies; we generally cannot issue refunds directly.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse TapCook — including attempting to disrupt the service, reverse engineer it, or use it to infringe others' rights or violate any law. Recipes you extract are for your own personal, non-commercial use.
Intellectual property
The TapCook app, name, and design are owned by testmaxx LLC. Recipes and videos you save belong to their respective creators; TapCook grants you no rights in that content beyond personal use.
Cooking & health disclaimer
TapCook is not a source of dietary, nutritional, or medical advice. Always use your own judgment when cooking — check for allergens, follow safe food-handling practices, and verify cooking temperatures and times. We are not responsible for outcomes from recipes saved or prepared using the app.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
TapCook is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, testmaxx LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these Terms as TapCook evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
